Mac OS X is ready to run the application
Just click and run the application.
If this is the first time you have run the application then a small download of the application will occur (about 2 M bytes).
Apple supplies their own version of Java. Use the Software Update feature (available on the Apple menu) to check that you have the most up-to-date version of Java for your Mac.
The icon above will download a small file named IProtect.jnlp. Click on that downloaded file to start the software. Click here to see details about what is a "JNLP" file?
Any problems? A few users have reported that the software does not start. They see a quick flash of the words "Java Web Start" in the upper right and then nothing.
To resolve:
- Try the Demo that is provided by Apple at: See "Welcome to Java Web Start".
- If this Apple demo does not start, then the resolution has been to update the Java environment on their machine using Apple update.
