THE TRUSTED TIME STAMP AUTHORITY, TO SAFEGUARD INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY IN THE CREATIVE SECTOR

JULY, 2001 - DigiStamp, Inc. and FIDEALIS join forces to bring next generation intellectual property (IP) protection to the European creative market with a trusted time stamping focus. As a distributor, FIDEALIS will sell and combine the safeguards of trusted time stamping and digital signatures with their Internet based Creative Exchange. Additionally, FIDEALIS will act as the point of contact for other market segments such as legal, research and e-commerce in France and Belgium initially.

FIDEALIS Sarl, a global supplier for Companies Image Creation, and DigiStamp, Inc., a security system provider, have announced a partnership to sell and distribute DigiStamp's services in conjunction with FIDEALIS's. This arrangement provides protection for IP using the strength of interoperable public key cryptography protocols and the ease of an Internet-based service with an Internet exchange for freelance creatives. The DigiStamp desktop service fits "hand and glove" with FIDEALIS offering to create a company Image (name, logotypes, baselines and slogans, customized scents, musical jingles). During the processes of creating IP, DigiStamp "fingerprints" each idea into a secure cryptographic algorithm (SHA-1 hash) and assigns a time element within a digital signature. The arrangement provides FIDEALIS a unique product differentiation and DigiStamp access to the European market. "We are very excited about the mutual value for both companies.
